It’s Grape Picking Time

🍇 It’s Grape Pickin’ Time!

Hello!!

It’s one of our very favorite times of year at Bunnycup! ’Tis the season for picking grapes, squishing grapes, and starting the process of turning all those grapes into the wines you’ve come to know and love.

And this year, you’re part of it! Thank you so much for volunteering to help us pick. We’re excited to have you out in the vineyard with us. Here’s everything you need to know:

WHERE:

Snowdrift Vineyard

This is the beautiful vineyard just outside of Amery that Bunnycup manages. It’s located across from The Mix Up.

* Important: There’s more than one Mix Up, so make sure you’re headed toward 1301 105th Ave, Amery. The vineyard entrance is on the cross street, 130th Street. We’ll have a Bunnycup sign out so you know you’ve found us. Pull on in and we’ll show you where to park!

WHEN:

We’ll start picking at 9:00 AM and will likely wrap up sometime mid-afternoon. Come at 9, wander in later, stay all day, pick for an hour — we’re not taking attendance.

One little favor: Please let us know about what time you’re planning to arrive. It doesn’t have to be exact — we’d just love a rough idea so we know when to expect everyone.

WHAT TO BRING:

Wear comfy clothes and layers, and maybe don’t choose the outfit you’d be heartbroken to get a little grape juice on. 😉

We’ll provide all the tools you need — including wine samples, obviously. We’ll also have breakfast treats, water and snacks available throughout the morning. Around noon, we’ll take a well-earned break for a pizza lunch from The Mix Up.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

We’ll start with a quick lay of the land and show you what to do. Then you’ll choose a row, grab some clippers and start snipping! Fill your bucket and we’ll have people roaming around to swap it for an empty one and keep you picking.

And, as with most things Bunnycup, we’re pretty unfussy about it. Pick a lot. Pick a little. Stay all day. Stay for a while. There are no quotas. Competitive grape picking is strictly optional 😂

Meet some new people. Drink some wine. Pick a ridiculous amount of grapes. Have some fun.

We’re so glad you’re joining us. See you in the vines! 🍇
